| The trek is led by a Khmu guide who takes you though the centre of the National Protected Area (Nam Ha NPA), an ASEAN declared Natural Heritage Site. You will be able to see many different kinds of non timber forest products (NTP’s), to learn about birds, animals, plants, and trees of the jungle tropical forest. Also you a likely to hear and perhaps fortunate enough to see mountain forest animals. You will spend some time relaxing in the mountain environment, staying overnight deep in our bamboo jungle camp located on the banks of Nam Ha River and enjoy traditional Lao food prepared with selected forest spices. | Travel 30 minutes upcountry to a Khmu village, followed by a short climb to upland forest and high open ridges, descending to sleep overnight at a minority village alongside the Nam Ha River. The second day starts with an easy walk along the Nam Ha River, before ascending up into mature forest some 500 year old, through to spectacular ridge top views and upland rice cultivation. | The three days jungle trek into the forest of the Nam Ha National Protected Area, an ASEAN Heritage Site, It’s a trip for those who want to explore forest experience and to pay attention to the beauty of the jungle. The first night you will camp in the heart of the jungle. The camp site is built out of natural products like bamboo and wood by the villagers. During the second night, Khmu villagers will be your hosts. Along the way, local guides explain the forest products used by villagers for food, medicine, construction materials and religious ceremonies.
